The extremely talented and beautiful Yvette Creel demonstrated her unique style of establishing "Dramatic
detail in colored Water. We had a little camera trouble, actually I forgot to bring my camera, so I only have
two pictures from the demonstration. Sorry Yvette. Luckily it is easy to view her other works and find out

website for your viewing pleasure.
For the demonstration, Yvette brought a still life consisting of a unique looking sphere and bamboo. Yvette
prepares for her paintings by photographing her still life and exploring compositions from these photos.
Yvette began her painting by expertly applying the lighter hues of the bamboo and gradually building up
her values. She also demonstrated for us how she begins painting the sphere.
